After a glorious run of 2 months, I decided to retire the Monthly favorites posts. Why?
A) I got bored with them
B) It turned out that the answer to my very clever post lead „Because who doesn’t need a 186th monthly favorites in their feed” was: well, it seems no one needs it.
Instead, I will try the “This + That” series – the most random compilation of what’s going on with my life, this blog, things I’m doing or trying, things that inspire me or I’m currently obsessed with.
A mix of a little bit of this and that.
One thing I struggle with the most when it comes to blogging is finding the balance between coming up with interesting (and useful) content while also showing some parts of myself and my personality. It’s especially hard if you’re a natural introvert like me, who has never even maintained a proper Facebook personal page, let alone public social media accounts. On the other hand, this is is also what makes this whole blogging experience so intriguing to me.
The thrill of getting out of the comfort zone.
So, let’s see how this goes and whether this series survives its 2-month anniversary.
Coming up in May
Lots of new content coming up: from continuing the journey into smart beauty shopping (hello, SPF and anti-aging), through the next installment in decluttering 101 and musings about minimalism, to a ton of minimalist fashion and design tips. On the personal front, some weekend getaways have already been booked, so it’s probably time to utilize the Instagram stories feature.
